The Prince Of Darkness
That's when I walked in, looking fresh. (Of course I would, I just came back from hunting.
"You look Happy?" Asked Nick, walking towards me.
"Yeah. It's just that I spent a whole day with Bayden, while you guys were out Hunting." I replied. He sat on the nearby chair.
"Thank God he made you smile." Someone added.
He must sense what I was feeling, at first I didn't want to say it to him but I decided to say what it was that was bothering me.
"OK," agreed Nick and surprisingly grabbed my waist.
"Wo wooo what the Hell are you doing Nick?" I almost yelled, he rolled his beautiful eyes.
"Wind down, I am just taking you to your room with Vampire speed." He added laughing at my shocked face, I sighed, suddenly my feet left the ground. I was flying, faster than light, Nick's grip was tight on my waist. Before I could realize we were in my Room, I was amazed at what just happened, my legs were shaking when I put them on the ground, it felt like I had forgotten how to walk or stand on my legs, but it was a nice feeling, after a while I regained my senses and forced a smile.
"God you're so Light." Nick complimented.
"Thanks." I blushed.
"Oh!" He chuckled.
"You're so cute when you blush." Squealed Beth, we laughed.
"So tell us, what you wanted to say." Reminded Nick. I inhaled.
"Yesterday Morning I woke up to see Bayden ( they gasped ) and he walked towards the balcony without saying anything." They exhaled when I told them he kissed me on my cheek they were shocked and silent for a while.
"Did you Forgive him?" Questioned Beth.
"I... haven't talked to him yet." I murmured, looking down.
"Do you want to Forgive him?" Inquired Kirra looking in my eyes.
"He knocked me out for two days, "Two days," made me feel like a pathetic monster." I began to get angry but calmed myself.
"But I can't deny the fact that his touch sent sparks all over my body... I don't know the answer." I told them annoyed.
"Look Phoenix you are not gonna go anywhere. you are his girlfriend... he made a mistake I know that, you want to make him regret it but you should forgive him at times like these, when any day troubles will knock on your door." Offered Kirra thoughtfully.
"I will never forget what he has done to me... and can I say he won't do this again?" I questioned Kirra. I wanted the answer to be "No" cause I had enough.
"No, he won't do this again because Father has given him a hard time, and by the way if he wasn't feeling bad "Which is a miracle." He would have never apologized like that." Kirra answered seriously, I felt my blood burn in my cheeks they laughed at me again.
"I wish you could get out of here." Said Nick, I nodded. "And come out with us." He added innocently I smiled.
"Sorry Nick I can't say anything, the decision is yours to make. He has to protect you and for that you have to forgive him but I am not forcing you." Kirra said.
We sat there for a long time then both of them left leaving me alone in my room, they left cause they have jobs to do, no one would stay here forever, I sat alone in the room for an hour or so. The door of the room opened Bayden walked in angry.
"What happened?" I asked testily.
"Get dressed." He ordered ignoring my question.
"What? Wait what do you mean?" I asked bitterly, my eyes following his footsteps, he was walking towards the wardrobe.
"We are going out." He grunted and took his shirt out, why does he keep doing that? My heart skipped a beat.
"Phoenix get dressed." He repeated annoyed his eyebrows raised.
"Oh!... but can I ask where are you dragging me to? If it's Hell then it's better than this place?" I asked looking in his eyes not on his perfect hot abs, again he walked towards me stopped so near that his breath brushed my face, I was embarrassed because he could hear my heartbeats, my cheeks were red.
"Father has ordered me to teach you few things about us, Hero will be joining us." He blurted starring back in my eyes continuously.
"OK...." I managed to say and turned to go to the washroom, changed my clothes in to a comfortable jeans, a purple shirt, gathered my hair which kind of made me look cute, put some eyeliner, mascara and got out of the washroom. Bayden was on the Phone with whomever, he checked me out of course without any expressions on his face and turned his back on me.
"We are going to be late, "My Love." He said in a sarcastic tone which I had never heard, grabbed my hand and out of the room, down the stairs, out of the Palace in front of a "Golden 2010 Bentley Mulsanne." WOW, as I sat inside I felt like I was in a Plane. The interior was crazy, everything was so perfect I feared it might get ruined by touching it.
We reached the place where the battle took place between Vampire's and Lycan's, it was a deserted land with not even a sign of a Bird, Father asked me to bring her here and teach her some things about us, How we fight? How we Kill? as soon she is going to be one of us. Hero was already there we went up to meet him.
"Phoenix now can you tell me where are we? Why are we here?" Kirra asked perturbed looking around her.
"This is the place where the battle between Vampire's and Lycan's took place 700 years ago, and the very place where you died." I answered her, she gasped at my answer her expressions uneasy and her heartbeats were running faster, she was fearful. We stopped where Hero was.
"Hello Your Highness." He bowed for me, when looked at Kirra a smile spread his lips.
"You look pretty and cute your Royal Highness." He praised her, I sensed Willa's pulse running and blood burning in her cheeks.
"Thank you." She answered politely.
"Father has sent others here too, because if her Highness remembered something from her past it can be dangerous without her being awake."
"Well then we shall wait for him." I stated, we waited for 15 minutes in which Kirra looked through our weapons, which were Guns with silver Bullets, Swords with Silver Blades, Silver Daggers, Axes, we use silver to kill Lycan's, (which is not easy) first thing is to make them weak so you could have your chance to kill them by one of these weapons. Kirra was excited to see the weapons not like other humans girls, she loved them, she held the Guns and Swords.
At last Hero came he shook our hands.
"My Lady." He greeted her by kissing her hand. She felt good to see him I could sense her emotions were calm now.
"Nick you know what this place is..." I repeated in Hero's presence.
"The place where I died well the Phoenix you knew died, and the place where the Battle took place, you already told me that." She cut me off by saying this, I rolled my eyes.
"Do not do this again, listen when I am talking, talk when you are asked to talk." I snapped taking a sword and examining it, I almost heard her eyes rolling and her expressions changing into a frown.
"Jackass." I heard her say in her thoughts, mine and Hero's heads shot towards her at once, I raised my eyebrow, the things that I said took her by surprise, I hurt her and she was ashamed looking down at her feet... The atmosphere stiffened around us.
"Well today you are here to learn how we kill and fight." I carried on, changing the subject, she nodded not looking at me and came out of her own train of thoughts.
"First thing how we kill our Prey." began Nick. "See we have different powers, with the help of which we can beat the Hell out of Lycan's, yes we can kill them but it will look rather ironic if I said we are more Powerful. We have powers while Lycan's have extraordinary Speed, Quick healing, Amazing Hearing and mind-blowing Strength." He explained gently.
"Like every Vampire I have the power of reading people's minds, I can get into someone's body, Beth can control wind and Ice which can kill you "Humans" in 5 minutes, Kirra has the power to Control Fire, that Fire will burn every single thing in a body, Sidka has the power to calm someone, like he did Lestat the day he entered your chamber, and he can melt anything with his remarkable purple eyes, Hanna how Sweet she looks but when she is on the battle or any war her eyes get Darker, her Darkest side appears and she can sense what is around her, as for Lestat he has the power of 50 Vampires, incredible strength, he can shape shift into humans and animals, Hero well you can imagine, as for His Highness Bayden he can do everything which I just told you, even more which we haven't found out yet." Hero explained interestingly, Kirra's eyes were wide open.
"That is amazing." She said Impressed Nick smiled and nodded.
"With powers like these who on earth could dare touch you." She added.
"But Phoenix you must understand that these powers you must use them carefully, one mistake and you can lose your life." Suggested Nick seriously.
"I know... but I don't have them yet." I answered annoyed, my thoughts only said how amazing all this was but my heart was scared.
"Now we will tell you something about you, something that only I and Nick have the knowledge of." Nick told me, our gazes met I looked concerned now.
