Misdirection On Vacation

Dart walked hand in hand with Kallye. He looked around. Jujo stuck to his head shivering. Chattering. "Yeah I realize I made a wrong turn somewhere." he says. Shaking his head. "Really Jujo must you point out the obvious?" He asked. He looked at Kallye and held her close. Giving her his jacket as well. "Sorry Kallye. I have no idea how I got us lost here." He kissed her cheek lightly. "Well...maybe we should make a campfire, rest, than get walking again. I think there is a cave over there." He said. Pointing with his free hand.

[Kallye]

*Kallye was content even with them being lost, though held back a giggle. Watching Jujo chattering most likely teasing Dart about being lost. Looking back ahead squeezing his hand some to let him know it was alright, her white ears perked listening. That lush white tail swaying back and forth behind her before feeling his jacket and offered a bigger smile. Purring softly as she kissed his cheek back.*

"Dart its alright, Jujo be nice alright you could of flew up and tried to find us right path too. But you didn't so you keep quiet."

*Leaning back against him before he spoke about finding a place and she nodded her head softly. Pointing out a small clearing up head that would work or even the group of trees near by for a little more covering. Which ever he chose was fine with her honestly.*

"Sounds like a good plan though now that I think about it your cave idea sounds better than being out here. Lets go."

Dart looked at her. Nuzzling her neck a moment. Jujo making some smart remark about that making him blush a bit. "Nosey bird." he mutters. He laughed at what she said to Jujo. Juju making an audible bird huff before chirping out a comeback. "Sure and get frost bite and turn into a birdsicle. Such nice thinking Kallye." He does a pretend bird sniffle. Dart laughed a bit. "He said sure and get frostbite and turn into a birdsicle. Such nice thinking Kallye." He was laughing wholeheartedly. He nodded his head. Leading them into the cave and grabbed up some branches along the way. Depositing them on the floor of the cave. He begins to make them into a camp fire. Starting the fire with a couple of sticks. Jujo flapped over to Kallye and pressed into the warmth of her chest without being too inappropriate.

[Kallye]

*Kallye nuzzled back into Dart softly purring as she felt fine really even with them being lost. Catching the chirp before Dart translated and she growled softly before licking her lips in a fake threat.*

"Oh I could think of far worse things than freezing to death dear Jujo believe me."

*Those eyes locking on the bird before she let Dart lead them inside the cave and she sat on a smooth boulder. Watching him a moment as she lightly rubbed her arms with his jacket trying to keep some heat there. A look to Jujo before she patted his head knowing they all were a little cold and she was waiting for that fire to get going. Yes rest, possible fall asleep in her case than get going when they were all rested. That was a nice plan.*

Dart looked at her and chuckled a bit. He knew she didn't mean those things. He knew Jujo knew it too but it was amusing when he protested with a but but but...comment. He chuckled and soon had the fire going. He stacked some small rocks around it to keep it in one area. He then walked over to Kallye and sat by her. Rubbing her arms for her and held her close to him. "Jujo loves you just like I do. He trusts you more than he has ever trusted any female." He says softly. Kissing her lips lightly. Jujo stayed right where he was. Absorbing heat from her as his little body quivered from the cold.

[Kallye]

*Kallye merely smirked back to the little bird hearing that response was so priceless. Yet they both knew it was all just tease, nothing they said was meant to be taken serious. Shaking her head some she held Jujo in her lap against her chest knowing they both were freezing. Her hand softly patting his head just before Dart came back over and sat down beside her. Leaning into his touch and waiting for that fire to warm up the cave.

Though the feeling of his hands rubbing along her arms was nice too and she gave him a smile. Kissing him back softly before he spoke typical Kallye she blushed at what he was telling her.*

"You both mean alot to me and I love each of you too."

*Looking from one to the other a moment shivering a little hoping it would get warm soon. Pulling the cloak she had on up around her and Jujo more she leaned her body into Dart's and exhaled. Almost wanting to sleep but with the cold clinging to her body didn't think she would get much.*

Dart held her and Jujo close. Jujo having taken to clinging to Kallye's warmth, little as it was currently, with his wings as if he could curl the wing tips into her clothing. Dart kissed her blushing cheeks. He wrapped her securely in his arms. Knowing she had ahold of Jujo who quite frankly had no intentions of moving anytime soon. The cave began to warm up and he rested his head on hers. Rubbing her arms every so often to generate warmth until the cave would be warm enough they wouldn't need to huddle together. He saw that he could see his breath less as the cave was warming up. "So....think Hero is having a good time baby sitting the kids for us?" He asked. He had a feeling Hero was because the guy seemed to love children.

[Kallye]

*Dart was such a dear and she adored the man more and more each day. Snuggling into his arms, and smiled at how Jujo did the same in her lap. Silly little bird was something else but she adored him as well. Not minding the warmth being shared for now although could tell the cave was slowly warming. Her tail hidden up under the dress she wore as her head rested on Dart's shoulder. Licking her lips some before feeling the kisses to her cheek and purred, his question had her looking back up.*

"If I know Hero he is having a wondeful time. Those three love playing with him and Hero is a natural."

*Smiling a little more before purring and curling into his side once more. Nuzzling him some and tempted to take a nap, but she was going to pass at least till she couldn't any longer.*

Dart enjoyed her snuggling more into his arms. Whenever he held her within his arms he felt empowered. Like there was nothing he couldn't do as long as he had her close by. Jujo rested his head on her tummy and merely smiled a birdie smile. Dart, himself however, was quite content sitting her sharing warmth. The cave was becoming increasingly warmer but for now the nippiness was still in the air and made it easier to just relax and take it easy. He listened to her purring. He loved the sound of it so much. It was quite peaceful and relaxing. "You are most likely extremely right. Those three do love playing with him. I think he once said he had experience raising children. Something about in his dimension." He said with a shrug. Nuzzling her back and wrapped an arm more securely around her.

He looked at her. "You should get some rest. We traveled a very long way in harsher conditions than either of us are used to going through. I'll keep watch. I have my rapier and some potions nearby if I need to use either to protect us from anything." He said in a calm and loving voice. He knew her being a white lioness she really didn't need his help. He remembered how they first met due to a case of mistaken identity. It was still amusing to him and quite fascinating really that he met the love of his life based on a case of mistaken identity.

[Kallye]

*Kallye was perfectly and completely content like the three were right now. Still petting Jujo and curled up in Dart's arms purring softly as she just waited to get warmer. Those eyes closed listening just to the sounds around them before he spoke and she smiled. Nodding against his form though not having much to say letting out a content sigh. Although at his words she looked up for a moment to him and very slowly the smile crossed over her lips.*

"Alright. I'll try for now I am rather tired."

*Kissing his cheek she shifted some though not far and laid her head on his lap. Pulling Jujo and the cloak closer to her for now. Once more closing her eyes and attempting to try and get some rest.*
