Rich snow white fur, blending into a smokey grey and black cover lead forth by rich amber eyes that could catch the rays light and seem to glow with anew found hidden fire. Steps soft nearly soundless as the breeze carried on it a scent, a scent that made ones mouth water in anticipation. It was the need to taste that sweet, warmth oozing slowly down the throat, filling the senses with an erotic feeling that once only dreams of. It was the echoing of past sorrows carried through the night and day of pain, suffering that could haunt one's soul for eternity. That was the drive settling within the heart, mind of Tasha this day.
She was focused, fluid, graceful even as a huntress stalking, watching her prey moving about unaware and unafraid. It would almost make her laugh but yet she remained as silent as a grave her soul purpose surprise. Something she was very good at since her youth.
Stepping carefully through the trees, making precise steps while her eyes full of life and a faint haze steady and locked. Her scent hidden upon the breeze as she stayed downwind catching her targets delicious scent and hungering to see if it was just as mouthwatering as her mind said. Croutching low, soft tan belly brushing with the cool earth below her. Cradling her form in its rich and welcoming embrace, protecting till the moment was right. Easing her muscles into a coil ready to spring at a moments notice.
Perked high ears listening for a sound, noise anything that could possible ruin this moment. It would not boyd well for one should they indeed ruin her kill. But for now that was just a though best pushed away for the moment and not dwelled on. Seeing the large, tone male buck edging his way along the forest. His head bowed as if in honor to the one, but she knew better. He was feeding, making his body even more of a feast for her to devour and surround herself in. Ever tense her muscles were like a snake ready to spring and she would.
Like a shot in the night, a blur of beauty and motion rushing with a power few knew and even few understood. As if to dance, but this was not a sensual dance no it was a dance of death. And so it was that ochre met mocha in a battle of survival. One the hunted the other the huntress. Grave and majestic beauty flowing from their dance even as it weaved and wound itself though the trees. It was an intense, heart pounding an adrenalin pumping thrill for the femme. Her body taking to the chase like a bird takes to flight. Poised, steady and unbreakable was her approach, lacing out a quick fast hit to the flanks.
An echo of pain crying out from the throat as the poor creature stumbled but kept going. It's blood was spilled, oozing down its legs staining the earth with its essence, feeding it with a new life. The wolf still unstoppable, gaining even more ground despite the massive leaps and twists the deer took in a futile effort to lose her. But he didn't understand this was her game, her life, her passion and she embraced the hunt becoming one perfectly with the killing machine she was born of. A loud feral snarl ripping itself free as the deer took for a leap thinking it a safe route, but not calculating on his biggest mistake.
Underestimating his enemy. With power and grace legs hitting the tree with speed that would propell the femme out and up as teeth and claws came down. Only the shattering of a cry into the air would signal the fate, blood filling the air now with its rich and inviting scent. Surely pulling on every predator from miled to come and dine on its richness. A panting breath as the sickening, stomach turning sound of bones being shattered pierced the day. Echos of victory, passion and devotion raging within the forest as with a last futile attempt to escape was stopped and a lifeless, limp form lay cold and dead at her feet.

Wynx's nose was tingling with all the strange scents. She had stalked a big rabbit, about the size of her five and a half inch wolf pup forms entire length. It was fatter than her by at least two inches. Yet her stomach was growling loud enough the rabbit was staying just out of lunging range. Still she stalked after the rabbit. Her tired form focused only on eating. The strange sounds making her jump a bit. Even almost three years later any sudden branches crunching made her afraid the silver bearing men had found her.
She slinked low to the ground. Having realized it wasn't evil men that made the branches snap. She moved forwards by her paws only. Her belly silently dragging across the ground. Her tail rigid behind her. She tried to get close enough to pounce the rabbit but again her stomach growled and betrayed her presence. It bolted off and she ran after it. Her movements slow as her legs felt slighly like jelly. As it was they were just barely able to hold her up. She whined as the rabbit left her again before it stopped.
Crouching down and tries again. Her nose tingling as she caught the scent of another wolf. Her ears standing straight up and swiveling as she tried to locate the other wolfs presence. She saw her chance and chased after the rabbit. Her path beginning to cross the wolf huntress's path as the rabbit bolted again. Her tired legs making her stumble a bit as they started to give out. She cried out at the rabbit in frustration. "Awwwwwww come on bunny...I'm tired and hungry. You are being so mean." She said.
"Come back here mean rabbit." Yiping and chased it until her legs gave out. She fell with her legs all flat on the ground. Her head laying and her ears drooped flat to her head. "Can't catch any food." She whines cutely. Around three feet from the older she wolf. Tears rolling down her furry face as her tail lay flat on the ground. Not noticing the other wolf as she was tired and hungry. Starving actually. She was beyond hungry. Her stomach growling loudly and she smelled food but was too tired to move anymore.
The scent of fresh meat so close yet so far away to the tired little wolf pup. "I'm trying mommy...I'm trying to be strong. I wish you weren't up in heaven." She whined out. Ears plastered to her head a bit. "I'm no good at hunting food." She said sadly. Her tail curls against her side.

~Her focus was solely on the hunt so she hadn't detected, felt or even knew of the younger wolf within the area. It wasn't till she had taken the deer down and was panting from her chase about to rip into the soft flesh that it hit her. Pain, despair, loss, sadness, hunger, exhaustion all of it making the Fala stumble some as she rained in her own feelings and lifted her head. Liquid amber eyes gazing around the valley as she allowed her senses to reach out a little more to locate who or what was giving off such feelings.
Scenting the air she finally detected another wolf, young one and female. Her head turning as did her body to see in which direction it was before finally finding it. The young one was a nice distance away although granted it seemed close to crossing her own path and Tasha watched a moment. Still picking up on the young ones state catching a faint hint of her words before making a decision. Taking slow careful steps she would abandon for now the kill and seek out the pup. Perhaps offer some of the deer if she was hungry enough.
Those massive paws pressing up and forward, taking the Fala closer and closer to the small little clump of fur curled on the ground. Her scent wasn't hidden, nor was she being that quiet sniffing again to see if there was others around or danger and finding nothing. Except the animals that were in the vicnity. So she continued cocking her head some not sure why one so young was out alone and narrowed her eyes. It was a little nerve racking seeing a pup and not having her past suddenly rushing in.
When she got but a few feet away she dropped to sit on her hind legs before reaching out with her 'mental' voice to the girl. Knowing that of course they could understand one another. All shifters had a way to communicate in their animal form with one another. Its what set them apart from just basic animals.~
"My dear are you hurt? I can tell you hungry come, I have a fresh kill I will share with you. Don't be afraid I mean you no harm." ~The Fala's voice echoing in her little mind was gentle, calming as only Tasha could be staying in her location and waiting for any kind of sign from the pup. Not wishing to startle or scare her just offering help.~

Wynx heard another's approach but didn't yet open her weary eyes. She heard the approach and one ear stood up and twitched. Trying to sense danger so she could attempt to get away. Even knowing her form was much too tired to run anymore. She smelled a she wolf. An older she wolf at that. She opened one eye sleepily. Noticing that the she wolf was sitting a few feet away. Was she here to help? Did she mean to help her? She wondered on that. She hadn't met any others like her. Maybe she would help her somehow.
She opened her tired eyes fulling and slowly pulled her exhausted form to face the other she wolf. Her ears twitching and moving as she listened. She felt the gentleness of the voice in her mind. It was calming and for the first time in almost three years she didn't feel afraid. Or alone. She felt safe. She dragged her form by her front paws over and lay her head on Tasha's front paw. "Too tired to move..." She said back with her mind. She knew how to talk like that.
"My side never healed right from the silver pointed stick. Those evil men with silver took everything away. My mommy told me to run so I did. She talks to me somehow whenever I run out of strength and keeps me going." She said softly. "I can't catch food and only sometimes get food from people in markets. I try hard but the food always gets away. Thank you for offering me food lady." She said softly. Lifting her eyes a bit to look at her.
She studied the she wolf and pulled her form into Tasha's leg some more. Curling up against her leg. "You are the first wolf person like me...maybe you will accept me. I am strong but it is hard to be strong all the time. I keep up hope I'll find someone who will accept me." She said with a soft smile. She looked at her. "Mommy said to keep going and to stay away from silver bearing people. I'm only scared they will find me and kill me like they did everyone I ever known." She closed her eyes again. "Thanks for being nice to me." She said softly. A slight amount of happiness to have found someone like her there but the other feelings were there too.

~Tasha watched the pup a moment trying to not seem a threat, though her rather large side would slightly make them believe the opposite. Ears twitching some slightly as she watched and waited till the little one seemed to finally pull herself up. Brows furrowing some as she drug herself over and against her front paw. Tasha just looked down hearing the little's voice in her head and nodded some. Leaning in closer and brushed her nose against her cheek.~
"It is alright young one you can rest." ~Watching her still as she looked up to her and offered a smile before she continued and Tasha let out a breath. Feeling her own heart breaking at what was happening to her and how others had treated her.~ "You are safe and I will accept you. If you so wish it I'll be your family. My name is Tasha Moondancer, the Fala or alpha ruler over Orealis." ~Keeping her voice soft nodding some when the girl spoke on her mother guiding her. Another breath, feeling the emotions rushing off and nodded.
She was exhausted, tired, hungry, scared and now happy and hopeful. Without another thought she leaned down. Picking her up carefully in her jaws much like a wolf carries her pups and did just that at least over to the kill. Her movements careful and direct before slowly setting her down a few minutes later.~ "Come eat the rest we can take home after, now you need your strength." ~Leaning down herself and tearing into the soft underbelly, ripping the flesh, muscle easily as she worked to pull off a chunk. Laying down with her paws holding it while she chewed.~

Wynx sleepily licked at Tasha's nose. Her way of showing acceptance. Her eyes lulling closed until she heard Tasha speaking again. Smiling a tiny wolfish smile. "Thanks." She said softly. She looked up at her and felt true happiness and hope for better things. "Yay!" She said softly. "My name is Wynx. I don't remember my last name." She said softly. Closing her eyes again. "I wish I had a new mommy as nice as you." She said and licked at Tasha's paw in a soft thankful kiss.
She was still tired and hungry and exhausted but now she had just happy and hopefulness. She felt safe with Tasha. Safer than she had felt in a long time. She looked at her and was surprised when she was picked up like she was her pup. Chrring in light happiness. She felt like a kid again. She was a kid but for a while she had to be grown up. She had a feeling she was able to be a kid once more. She started to pull on the soft flesh near her. Putting her tiny paws on it and pulls back. Chewing away happily. Her actions slow as she was still tired. "Foooood." She said in delight. "Thank you." She pulled and worked on another piece of meat. She was so hungry and it drove her in pulling the meat off to eat it.

~A wolfish smile spread over the Fala's muzzle watching Wynx than hearing her thoughts, before she nodded some and licked her cheek back. Her nose rubbing into the fur along her neck in a comforting way, but also as a sign she was now protected. Tasha was giving her protection someone so young needed it. Hearing the name her eyes moved back to the little one and she seemed to soften even more. Though the comment about a mommy caught her offguard, but she recovered quickly.~ "Well how would you like it if I was your mother Wynx? So far you and I are the only ones like us I have found. It be nice having someone to go running in this form with. You'll stay at the manor and have food, shelter anything you need." ~Her thoughts were soft hoping honestly the little one accepted, it would be nice having some company.
It didn't surprise her though when a sudden bust of happiness and joy slipped through Wynx as she picked her up. She was treating her just like one of her pups (if she had any) and felt her heart warming from the whole situation. Setting her down she watched before having torn off her own chunk and laid enjoying it. But of course seeing that little paw on the kill, her head jerking to tear small pieces was priceless. Yip Wynx was adorable and Tasha was already in love with the small one.
Smiling some between bites catching the emotions and the thoughts before shaking her head. Going back to her own part and ripping into the flesh and muscle, savoring each bite and rather glad she could share this one. Granted Wynx wouldn't eat as much but still it was nice she missed the companionship alot.
Hating the fact that Wynx lost her real mother and could understand the little one. But being so young and having to grow-up to survive was rough. The mention of the mother talking to her she also understood, but for now said nothing on that whole ordeal. Best to not ruin the meal they could talk more later.~
