Day of Reckoning (KAT/CLINIC)

Dream Knox watched as the other one fell to the ground with a gaping hole through his torso. He felt sick. Not just in the dream, but in reality too, as if he were going to puke. He actually had to fight not to vomit in the dream because he had a feeling that he would in reality too, and drugged up, chained to a table, he wasn't sure if anyone was watching him so how could he know if someone would know to clear his airway. No, puking was a bad idea. He tried to push himself to stand again, though his legs were numb or filled with lead, he wasn't sure which. He couldn't stand, could only watch as they feasted on the beautiful blonde in front of him. I thought if you died in a dream, you woke up..

[/color] He thought from his resting place in the grass. [/i]"Unless I died and this is hell.."[/color] He shuddered at the thought.[/i][/blockquote]

They'd collected everything they needed from him. The I.V. was pumping a little slower into his viens which should let him awaken soon. Though his heart still beat erratically, unevenly. His breathing was still too labored. The nightmare wasn't allowing him to escape. Not yet anyway. He groaned again in his sleep, turning his head off to the side as he tried to pull himself out of it, still to no avail. The heavy amount of drugs in his system would have to fade just a bit before he'd have the strength to wretch himself from the dream.

He stared in horror at the scene, amost wishing that it was some bad movie that he could just stop and walk away from. The thought gave him an idea. Instead of trying to stand he shifted in the grass to turn away from the scene in front of him, closing his eyes as he moved. To his disqust, when he opened his eyes again everything was the same, as if he hadn't moved at all. With a gasp he turned his head to look over his shoulder and instead of seeing the forest that had been there before he saw the exact same thing as what had been in front of him. No escape. Nothing different to look at.. just this disgusting display. Come on Knox. Wake up!

[/color] He thought, trying to do something, anything at all to wake himself.

He swallowed hard as the sound of flesh tearing invaded his ears, watching as they finally pulled away from Kat and moved to him.. well other him anyway. This time they brought the demon baby with them. Though the demon was no longer a baby, he noted with shock. It had grown to the size of an older toddler, maybe around three now. As the small group began feasting on the other Knox, dream Knox screamed loudly and everything went black.[/i][/blockquote]

His eyelids fluttered open, chocolate colored gaze danced around the empty room without moving his head. He couldn't make anything out, not right away at least. Knox blinked once and things began to take shape, though were blurred around the edges. Twice and he could tell what the shapes were. Three times and he could finally see through the haze. Four times and everything was clear. Another groan slipped past his lips, trying to pull at his hand to cover his sweat drenched face and noting that nothing happened. He couldn't even feel his hands or feet at this point, everything was numb from the drugs. There was still a heavy fog around his mind, keeping him from being fully aware of anything, but at least he was concious, at least he'd managed to escape the dream.

This was some messed up situation she was wanting to hate this man before her but his words. He had a point honestly she couldn't really leave to innocent girls to be hurt or worse by those people. But still she was torn between wanting to leave and be done with him or help and right now she was leaning to the latter. Which had her slightly agitated.

Listening to his words her walls slowly crumbling down even this mad Knox had a hold over her. Sighing softly she growled before pushing past him without a word and making her ways towards the clinic. Vanishing through the trees to try and come up in the shadows along the backside and see if they could slip inside. Trying to focus on the task than she would figure out how to deal with this issue her and Knox now were in.

[CLINIC]

"Libby? Libby we have an issue here." Marcy called for her fellow nurse who was in the room for Kat getting the medicine ready. But hearing Marcy she raised a brow before moving into the lab to see what was going on and saw the look from the other nurse. "What's going on Marcy?" Seeing her motion to the microscope without a word and she turned to take a look. Focusing the slide for her and froze, visibly turning white as she stood back up both their faces mirroring one another. Johunas was going to be pissed.

Waiting for Kat to make up her mind Johunas was hoping his girls had Knox taken care of. The room ready and things prepared for when they 'snuck' inside. Mentally smirking some before hearing and seeing the looks crossing Kat's face. Not saying a word just glancing past her to the town than at the growl he tensed up. Thinking for sure she was going to just attack but when she pushed passed and headed into the woods he followed.

Noticing that it was off in the direction of the clinic and smirked to himself. 'Got her' he thought as he followed behind her closely shaking off the look of satisfaction having to go back into Knox mode now. Keeping and eye out incase but no one seemed to have noticed them and when the got there. Knox came up avoiding the idea of touching her and motioned to follow him.

Slipping along the shadows his eyes keeping a look and would move carefully before they were just outside the back door. Pulling out a blade that Kat was sure to recognize as Knox's and used it to pry open the door. Knowing it was 'unlocked' but not wanting to throw any suspicion on that fact. Plus the control box was there might as well make this look good.

Popping it open he carefully rewired the controls to make it easy for them to get in. Before giving her a curt nod and pulling it carefully open as if trying to make sure the alarms or nothing went off. Looking into the hallway to act as if he was checking and than moved to let her go first. The plan was for them to slip in, act like they were looking for the girls, mistakenly let her see the real Knox. And than it was lights out for Kat.

Come on, Knox.. Snap to it. He thought, trying to jerk himself more awake, trying to push aside the effects of the drugs, trying to break himself out. He couldn't muster the strength to bring the demon out, to let it take over and free him from this horrible situation. It was as if they had a special drug pumping into him that let the human side remain awake but nulled out everything to do with the demon. His eyes fluttered as he fought for conciousness. It was harder to stay awake without someone to yell at, but thinking about the fact that they'd knocked him out and drugged him and stolen from him and that they were out attempting to get Kat here under the pretense of a fake him was enough to piss him off.

He growled, trying to jerk at his arms though they were leadened, dead weight that just laid on the table beside him. He barely noticed the dried blood on his palms from where his nails had cut into him earlier, the wounds already healed over. His gaze shifted, turning his head to look toward the door and the small window beside it. A closed blind blocked off his view of the hallway beyond. Only then did he realize that this wasn't the same room he'd been in before, awareness starting to creep back into place. When the hell had they moved him and why. Knox turned his head again, this time catching sight of the monitors that kept track of his heart rate, his blood pressure and oxygen level, then to the machine controlling the I.V. Knox stared at the I.V., noting that the fluid pumping through it was milky white.. As if the note really did him any good.

His head throbbed and his chest hurt, but he forced himself to stay concious and turned his gaze back to the door. He listened for any steps beyond, tried to pick up any scents from the crack under the door, but so far nothing. Again he tried to move his leadened arms and legs, his hands and feet, his fingers and toes.. Nothing. The only mobility he had was from the neck up.. Great.

[Katerina Night]

Knowing he was behind her was bad enough but for now she pushed everything else aside. Growling slightly before feeling him slip ahead when they got close. Not saying a word since she preferred him where she could easily see him for now. Keeping like they always did to the shadows before coming up along side the building.

Her eyes scanning the area keeping a look for anyone hoping they weren't out and about to come back with more victims. Raising a brow some when he pulled out the dagger but it was his so she didn't exactly give it much thought. Those green eyes watching as he moved to pry the control box open and then was working the wires before he got the door to open. Rolling her eyes letting him look inside before seeing the nod and she slipped in.

Leaning up against the wall taking in the smells but their was that damn hospital scent too. Once he got in she moved carefully, quietly along the hallway, remembering he said human girls so she was looking for those scents. Keeping her ears alert for anyone who might come around. Checking a few open door and not seeing anything till she felt a hand on her arm and jerked before seeing it was Knox. Point towards the other hallway, her eyes narrowing a moment but she turned to head down it.

But something was off and she couldn't figure out what. There was like no noise, the scents were confusing her slightly. Since she could of swore she picked up Knox's yet he was behind her. Shaking her head she kept to the wall and continued unaware this hallway was where Knox was and that both Libby and Marcy were lying in wait.

[CLINIC]

Johunas wasn't paying her any attention as he worked the door, he was just keeping up the act. Sighing some softly before they were in and he allowed the door to close slowly to try and keep up they were sneaking in. Watching her look around and knew she was trying to pinpoint where he and the girls were, mentally smirking. Keeping to staying behind her and was also admiring her body. Smiling some at the ideas flashing through her mind what he was going to be doing.

But as they neared the hallway he knew was it he touched her arm and saw the reaction. But he let it go. Nodding they needed to go right and waited for her to move before following. Once her back was to him again he smirked. Glancing up past her to the room she would soon be in that was wide open than to the across that was where the real Knox was.

Eyes back to Kat before he spoke in a whisper. "We have to be close. Maybe that closed door up ahead I doubt any open room would be that easy for us to find them."

Knox listened and waited. When the fury started to wear off and he felt unconciousness tugging at him he thought of what they'd done and he became fully alert again. It seemed like hours had gone by from the time he'd awoken til the time everything changed. He felt the wave of drowsiness pulling him under again, though something hit his nose. His nostrils twitched from the scent of the fresh air through the crack under the door. Some door to the building had been opened, bringing in all the scents of the outside with it. And with those was another. One he'd been praying that wouldn't come. "KAT!" He tried to scream out for her but managed little more than a strained whisper. His throat was so damned dry that he couldn't make much of a sound.

Swallowing several times to try and produce some saliva, at least enough to dampen his throat and vocal cords, Knox continued to stare at the door. He could hear the muffled footsteps on the otherside and shook his head. No, no, no no NO! He screamed in his own head as he stared at the door. He swallowed again, listening as their steps grew closer. "Kat, run!" He shouted at the same time that Johunas/Knox spoke. His voice didn't carry far enough to even reach the door. "Dammit!" He cursed himself, struggling to try and put some movement behind the action. His limbs were still too heavy to move and he honestly doubted that he would regain movement in time to stop Johunas from whatever he was planning with Kat. "Dammit!" He cursed again, this time a little louder than before.. This time cursing Kat for being stupid enough to fall for it.

[Katerina Night]

She didn't want him touching her at the moment no matter what and jerked from his hand. But did manage to head down the hallway which still had her feeling of something being wrong yet couldn't figure out why. It was annoying her to say the least and she let out a sigh before moving down slowly before catching the low whisper.

Turning her head slightly to his words before shrugging some, but it did make sense. Yet for some reason that was just odd his words he was too calm almost. But than at times he usual was compared to her still she couldn't help shake something was off. Maybe they just needed to find the girls and get the hell out of the clinic.

Making her way to the first closed door her fingers wrapping around the knob, but it was the faint scent that came from under it. It had her frozen a moment trying to make sense of it. 'Knox' Chancing a look to the male with her before looking to the door again still wondering why his scent was so strong. Still she turned the handle pushing it open hearing only one rather heartbeat.

Pushing it open relieved it didn't make a noise but when she took a step in Kat froze. "What the..? KNOX!!" Her words came out a little louder but seeing him there she suddenly went to whirl around. The beast was pissed off now, she had been tricked or well something it didn't make sense there were two Knox's but as she turned everything went black.

[CLINIC]

Johunas was getting a little worried Kat seemed to be hesitating now and he wasn't liking it. They needed to get her drugged and into a room so he could begin the next faze before something else went wrong. Watching her though making no move to try and change his behavior as of yet. Licking over his lips when she finally went for the door where Knox was, already picking up that he was awake. The change in his heartbeat was enough though he was sure the drugs still had the boy groggy.

Keeping behind her like planned he glanced to the other room just down where Libby and Marcy were at. Seeing the shadows but watching Kat knew she was distracted he too was picking up on Knox's scent. Faintly nodded his head to the two as the other door opened and he pulled out the needle from his pocket, popping the cap. Seeing her tense up right before she spoke and he jerked his hand forward pushing the needle into her arm.

Smiling as she spun around knowing she figured out it was a trap now but already too late. His fist came up just to aid the drugs clocking her right in the side of the head watching her go down. "Well,well girls looks like we have little miss sunshine now. Thanks Knox though I should probably be a little pissed at you. Didn't tell me she was going to be well so pissed off with you. Girl slapped me in the face saying she hated me."

Letting the girls take Kat as they were now and he continued into the room with Knox. "Than again telling her you love her than leaving well that could easily piss a woman off. Nice going buddy." Laughing after wards before he turned to leave.

The machine beeped rapidly as his heart rate sped up, shifting as much as he could to face the door. A wild look in his eyes when Kat opened the door and looked at him. "Kat! Run, Dammit!" He screamed at her when she looked at him. When she turned away from him he cursed again. "RUN!" He screamed again to try and get her moving before Johunas could do anything to her. Too late. He watched Johunas' fist connect with the side of Kat's head, watched as she slunk to the floor.

"You stupid sonofabitch!" He screamed at Johunas while he willed himself to move. He didn't get far, just a slight twitch in his hand. "I swear to god I will kill you myself. I'll rip your f**kin heart out you soulless bastard." He tried to jerk around again an succeeded in twitching his hand once more. "Let her go." He demanded of the man, fury in his eyes. He was completely oblivious to everything that Johunas was saying to him, at least for the moment. Later it would sink in, but right now he was too focused on trying to free himself and trying to get to the doctor to strangle him.

"I'll make you a deal!" He shouted in desperation when Johunas turned to leave. His heart thudded madly, his breath came in heavy pants while he stared at Johunas' back. His eyes darted around the man wildly. His tongue brushed over his lips to try and wet them. He swallowed hard as he stared at the doctors back, breathing heavily still. When the man finally turned to look at him. He took in a slow deep breath before speaking. "Let her go.. wait-" he had to shout again because the doctor looked as if he were going to leave again "-hear me out." He said as his heart started beating normally again. "Let her go and I'll give you anything you want.. Even if it's for the next twenty years. Just. Let her. Go." He pleaded while the dark eyes burned into Johunas'.. Well... His own since the man hadn't shifted back yet.

He didn't care, he'd sacrifice himself for Kat. He had a feeling the good old doctor wasn't going to go for it though.

[CLINIC]

Libby and Marcy took Kat to the room prepared for the woman, doing much the same as Knox. Stripping her completely before chaining, strapping her to another metal table before setting up various I.V's and machines to monitor vitals. Taking blood once again and both smirking as their eyes roamed over her form before smirking a little. "To bad Johunas wants her so much for himself we could have fun with this one." Still needing to speak with the doctor about their findings and when he didn't come Libby left Marcy to go speak with him.

Coming back to where Knox was and hearing him pleading with the doctor for Kat. Smiling some from where she stood against the doorway. Johunas who was about to leave and get working just sighed and turned to listen to the boys plea. Smirking as he begged for Kat to be released before glancing to Libby than back over. "Funny how you seem to still hold so much protection for a woman who when she saw you outside. Well said she hated you and if looks could kill...well you get the picture." Laughing out some before shaking his head. "Sorry Knox...no deal you both will be most useful."

He turned and walked out into the hall with Libby who was not smiling having caught his words. Raising a brow she motioned to the lab directly across from them and lead him inside over to the microscope. "You need to see the results of his test Johunas." His eyes narrowed but he trusted her and shifted to look, his suddenly happy demeanor shifted before he growled. Jerking back and his fist connected with the wall. "NO!!! Damn it I needed them both...where the hell. Wait...what am I thinking I don't need Knox. Prep the girl this happens now...we'll just use me as the male instead. Will make things all the more interesting."

Turning without another word and left the room heading down the hallway. He glanced to Kat strapped to the table, unconscious, naked and that sadistic smile was once more in place. "Your mine now Katerina and there isn't a damn thing your poor friend can do."

"NO! Dammit! Come on, doc. Anything.. Just let her go!" Knox screamed out the plea again as Johunas turned to leave. He didn't care if Kat hated him at this point, he really didn't. He just didn't want to see her go through something like this. His pleas were useless though as Johunas left with Libby. He jerked and twitched and fought to gain back his mobility. This time he succeeded in twitching both his right hand and his left leg, but it was little more than a twitch, definitely not the effect he was going for. He knew that yelling out for Kat was pointless too, they had her knocked out and his yelling and screaming weren't going to do him any good at all.

He sighed, banging his head back against the metal table while his fists clenched tightly, letting his nails dig into his palms again. His eyes closed, willing the demon foreward, willing the monster to come and help, to save the day.. Anything. He got as far as the darkened color of his eyes changing quickly to that ruby red. The iris' brilliant against his tanned skin. His eyes stayed that way, though nothing more of the demon showed through.. unfortunately. Knox heard the footsteps in the hall and turned his head toward the closed door again, listening and watching. He could hear Johunas' muffled speach on the other side, but not much else.

[CLINIC]

Johunas stood by Kat's room a moment before the Marcy showed up and he suddenly realized something. He jerked back around slightly pissed off at the moment before he slammed open Knox's door and glared at the boy with such hatred. "You worthless excuse how dare you try and trick me into keeping you here. Knowing full well you were as infertile as a neutered kitten. Well guess what you get your wish....you can go. But that woman is now and will be MINE!!"

The timber in his voice was eerie as his own beast seemed to rise before he stalked into the room. Looking at Knox a moment than his fist shot out and connected with his cheek than Johunas left. But not before grabbing Libby sure the room was still open and Knox would hear he didn't care. "Get that worthless excuse out of my clinic, have Kat ready. Bring some of my samples from the cooler and be ready in 20 minutes. I won't take any more delays."

Libby nodded a little scared of the doctor when he was like this before rushing into the room. Turning up the dose on Knox's meds to knock him out right as Marcy came in as well. Once he was out they would began redressing the male both not saying a word. Unsure what to say and just wanting Johunas to calm down.

"Infer-... WHAT?!" Knox's eyes widened marginally, obviously shocked by the news. Infertile? All those years of being extremely careful were for nothing? Well that was good to know.. NOT! He shook his head. "Dude, I swear I didn't know! Please just let Kat go.. You can use me for anything else you-" His voice cut off as the fist connected with his cheek, snapping his head to the side from the force. He spit in the direction he faced, tasting blood from the split to his lip. He took in a deep breath, turning the bright red gaze back onto Johunas as the man spoke of using his own sample on Kat.

"What? NO!" He screamed, jerking harder at his arms to try and make a grander movement than the twitches. Knox was paniced, freaking out because of the information he'd heard in the last... god how many hours had he been here anyway? It felt like weeks. He struggled more, though succeeded only in pumping the higher dose through his system faster. It took a moment for him to even realize that the cold to his arm was spreading as the IV pumped the milky fluid into him quicker. "No.. Just stop.. Please juuuust... liiisssssten to..." He didn't get to finish his sentence as the drugs took their effect and his head dropped heavily back against the metal table. Once more unconcious. He just prayed that this time there were no dreams.

[CLINIC]

The doctor gave the boy only a glare not even believing him about being infertile and not knowing. Ignoring the red in his eyes right now he just considered Knox nothing but a waste of air and time. Letting the girls to deal with him although hearing the plea about not using his own sperm had the man laughing as he walked away down the hall. Stepping into Kat's room and closing over the door, who said he wasn't going to enjoy her while she was out. The man was sick what could you say but he wasn't going to mess it up so the experiments didn't work no. Just have some fun till Libby and Marcy threw out the garbage and got back to him.

The girls didn't speak waiting for a few moments before Knox was still before unchaining and unstrapping him. Working to quickly dress him once again making sure to do it right, Libby working to lift him up as Marcy went and retrieved his bags and weapons. Helping the other nurse as they drug him out of the room and down the hallway. Working together since he was damn heavy like this right now and once they got to the door pushed it back open.

Marcy glancing around before the quickly slipped out dragging him with them and just a little ways into the forest behind them. Dropping him and his things they both vanished back inside. The door alarms and all having been fixed awhile back so they weren't worried. Now to just pray Johunas wasn't still pissed off as they took off down the hall and Libby went to retrieve the speciman as Marcy heading into the room. Knocking before she slipped in and wrinkled her nose at the doctors behavior with the unconscious woman.

A light breath but she merely went to the counter pulling out what was needed before than going and shifting the table with Kat.
